First, the recomdation of IOT development and teaching equipment


Following the computer and Internet, IOT is called the third wave of the global information industry. It is a typical multidisciplinary and comprehensive research, involving fields like computer, semiconductor, network and communication. From the whole process of information acquire, transfer, store, process and application to the innovation of material, device, software, system and network that all promote the development of IOT. Therefore, to build the IOT development and application laboratory will become an important direction for the development of IOT in universities, and it is also a necessary way for all universities to realize the cultivation and promotion of IOT talents.


Haitianxiong has the following IOT teaching equipment: IOT Technology Integrated Experiment System III CES-IOT6818, IOT Technology Integrated Experiment System I CES-IOT210. Training platform with independent modular design, industrial-grade equipment, easy to operation, accurate data, and can be configured various types of modules according to the teaching.



 

Second, the Physical Layout of IOT Development and Application Laboratory


IOT engineering training platform consists of training cabinet, gateway, computer and sensor components, equipped with a ZigBee wireless sensor terminal, as well as multiple group of sensor modules which communicated through RS485. IOT process training platform is divided into six modules, a group of gateway, the other five groups are comprehensive experiment of multiple sensors. About 2-3 people are equipped with a device, take turns to operate so as to have a detail understanding of each module. The equipped teaching material has a wide range of content, teachers may choose the direction and have targeted explanation.



 

Third, the Deployment of IOT Development and Application Laboratory 


Laboratory construction of the Internet of things is inseparable from laboratory building at perception layer, network layer and application layer. Since IOT involves network technologies, communication technologies, sensor technologies and computer technologies, each one is quite complicated ,so universities can combine their own characteristics to have target teaching.

Haitianxiong Electronic had produced the corresponding experiments to cooperate with teaching, such as the 45 sensor experiments: temperature sensor, human infrared sensor, light / light intensity sensor, vibration sensor, etc. The purpose of learning is at using it for comprehensive experiments, such as ZigBee networking experiment, truck vibration test, fire alarm system, smart home system, canteen meal card management system and so on. The rest experiments such as IOT gateway driver development test, microcontroller basic experiment, IOT OS device driver transplant test, etc. Students can master very useful knowledge from these and prepare for their future related work.
